Heavy vehicle licence FAQs
How long do I need to hold my car licence?
Usually one year for LR/MR/HR and two years for HC, plus one year on HR or HC before MC. Rules vary slightly by state — we'll check for you.
Is the assessment included?
Yes. Every course includes a competency-based assessment by our accredited assessor.
Can I learn in an automatic truck?
Yes, but an automatic assessment gives you a condition on your licence. We recommend synchromesh for job flexibility.
Do you help with employer funding?
We invoice employers directly and supply training records for your file.
